A $30 individual membership buys 10 acid free file folders for long-term document storage.
A $100 sponsorship membership helps purchase 392 feet of document repair tape.
A $1,000 Belle Meade Society membership pays 5% of the cost of insuring the museum collections.

But we are about more than objects and artifacts, documents and storage. We are about you. We are your history and your future, and you are ours. With 300 years of local history and counting, we are home to everyone’s personal stories of Greensboro.

By becoming a member of the Greensboro Historical Museum, you become a part of the effort to share Greensboro’s rich history now and in the future. Your dues allow us to continue to build exhibits, provide quality tours and offer educational experiences. They also help us care for the collections and develop the institution as a leader in the museum community, perpetually serving up stories and memories.

We have been a Smithsonian Institution Affiliate since 2006, and we have been accredited by the American Association of Museums since 1985—a distinction held by fewer than 10% of museums nationwide.
