Significant photographic holdings represent 19th to 21st century formats and range from Civil War era portraits to streetscape images of Greensboro. While collections focus on Greensboro and Guilford County, other areas are also represented. There are studio collections as well as dispersed groupings for individual photographers. Additionally, many of the Manuscript Collections also include photographs.
