This year’s playbill includes Di The Rathskeller, The Exact Science of Matrimony, A Poor Rule, The Buyer from Cactus City , and The Third Ingredient. Tickets may be purchased starting Friday, July 13 by calling 336.373.2043. Also, make sure to stay tuned to the museum e-newsletter to win complimentary tickets to the show.

Shop Stop

A new treasure in the Museum's Gift Shop is entitled Piece Work, a compact book of piercing poetry written by Barbara Presnell. Ms. Presnell grew up in Asheboro, NC, where her father was a production superintendent in a textile mill. Perhaps you have firsthand knowledge of the workings of a textile manufacturing company, or perhaps you have friends or family members who are (or have been) involved in the production of cotton dry goods. The poems in this volume will speak directly to your recollections or experience. Treat yourself or someone special!
